It is not perfection, but uniqueness that lies at the heart of her work.

Christina Witthaus works as a jewellery designer and goldsmith. Her jewellery is characterised by her inspiration from organic forms and her curiosity to continually discover new shapes and structures.

Even as a child, she was fascinated by the hidden beauty of natural structures, the varied colours of the earth, round stones, minerals in their raw state, and the processes of nature. This curiosity continued to guide her during her studies in New Craft Object Design at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences – Peter Behrens School of Arts. There, she explored organic forms, materials and creative processes, further developing her own design language.

Today, she combines craftsmanship with design research to create jewellery inspired by nature, revealing its unique structures and forms.
